You can Reach the Sky in Altoona -from the perspective of a six-year-old

In Altoona, I can touch the sky from the giant blue slide at Village Park! It's like being on top of a skyscraper! You climb up three ladders to get there! You can see forever! I can see all the other kids playing on the playground below, or watch older kids playing tennis at the park. When it’s warm out I watch volleyball games going on in the sand pit too. And I wave to my mom way down on the ground.  Then I slide on down the blue tube slide which goes super fast! After all that I head over to the shelter for a snack! Whew! I love this place!
