Pleasant Hill - a quiet community just outside the metro

Pleasant Hill is a quiet town located just east of the metro. Copper Creek lake is a unique feature of the community with fishing, trails and carry-in boat options. Located adjacent to the lake is Copper Creek Golf Course. This area is a highly coveted neighborhood for obvious reasons. The town is split in school districts with part of the residents attending Southeast Polk schools and part attending Des Moines schools.
